Full redesign for a Spotify playlist pitching platform — new visual identity, custom illustrations, and animations all built from scratch.
GetPlaylisted helps musicians get their tracks placed on Spotify playlists. The platform worked — the website didn't. It looked like hundreds of other music-tech sites: dark background, generic icons, uninspired layout. In a space where artists are choosing between competing services, the site was failing to give them a reason to pick GetPlaylisted.
We rebuilt the entire visual experience from scratch. New design direction, new colour system — light background, bright and bold, immediately distinct from every competitor. All graphic elements and illustrations were created in-house specifically for this project. Nothing borrowed, nothing generic.
The animations were built from scratch with custom code. The brief was to create something memorable without being theatrical — motion that feels natural and energetic, the kind you notice without being able to say exactly why. Every transition and hover state was considered as part of the overall experience.
The result is a site that looks unusual in the best possible way: distinctive, modern, and clearly made by people who care about craft.
Conversion rate improved after the redesign launched. The brand gained significantly more recognition within the music promotion space — artists began referencing the site specifically when recommending the service to peers. The design has since influenced how GetPlaylisted presents itself across social media and marketing materials.
