These Terms of Service govern the relationship between WebOrb ("we", "us", "our") and any individual or business ("you", "the client") who engages WebOrb to provide web design, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, or any related digital services.
By signing a proposal, making a payment, or instructing us to begin work, you agree to these terms in full.
WebOrb provides web design, web development, local search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Business Profile setup and management, landing page design, and related digital marketing services for UK trades and local businesses.
The specific scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and pricing will be agreed in a written proposal or project brief before work begins. That document forms part of these terms.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
To deliver your project on time, we need you to:
Delays caused by slow or missing information from the client may affect the project timeline. We are not liable for delays where the client has not met their obligations.
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project proposal. Revisions are defined as amending the agreed design or copy — not adding new pages, features, or scope beyond what was originally agreed.
Additional revisions, new pages, or scope changes will be quoted separately and require written agreement before work begins.
We aim to deliver standard website projects within 2 weeks of receiving all required client materials. This timeline is an estimate and may vary depending on the complexity of the project and the speed of client feedback.
We will communicate proactively if timelines are affected by anything on our side.
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final website design and content created specifically for you. We retain the right to showcase the completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
Any third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins, frameworks) used in your project are subject to their own licences. We will inform you of any additional licence costs before using paid assets.
If hosting is included in your package, we will manage this on your behalf. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party hosting providers, though we will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
If you choose to host your website independently, we will provide all necessary files and transfer documentation. Ongoing support and updates are not included once files have been transferred unless covered by a separate support agreement.
We apply established best practices for local SEO and on-page optimisation. However, we cannot and do not guarantee specific rankings, positions, or levels of traffic, as these are determined by Google's algorithms which are outside our control.
We will provide honest, transparent reporting on progress and adjust strategy based on data and results.
If you wish to cancel a project after work has begun:
For ongoing monthly services, either party may cancel with 30 days' written notice. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebOrb's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss of profit damages.
We treat all client information as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as required to deliver your project (e.g. hosting providers) or as required by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
